This 6″ Non-IC rated housing is suitable for new construction in residential and commercial applications and requires 3” spacing from insulation. Integral thermal guards protect against improper lamping and misuse of insulation materials with lamp wattage ratings and apertures based off trim selection. The housing adjusts from ½” to 1½” to accommodate ceiling thickness and its 7½” height allows it to be used in 2” x 8” joist construction.
- Adjustable socket bracket assures proper and consistent lamp positioning
- 7.5” height allows use in 2” x 8” joist construction
- Housing is secured to plaster frame with screws and can be removed for access to junction box
- Housing adjusts from 0.5” to 1.5” to accommodate ceiling thickness
- Integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping and misuse of insulation materials
