Integral thermal guards protect against improper lamping and misuse of insulation materials with lamp wattage ratings and apertures based off trim selection. Designed for slope ceiling installation with a 2/12 to 6/12 pitch, the socket pivots to allow the lamp to be aimed straight down regardless of ceiling pitch. The airtight housing limits the exchange of air between ceiling plenum and heated/cooled areas. The housing adjusts from 0.5” to 1.5” to accommodate ceiling thickness and its 7.5” height allows it to be used in 2” x 8” joist construction.
