The 19000A-LED-ID features Ideal connections that allows for quick, snap-in connection of NICOR D-series LED downlights. Suitable for new construction in residential and commercial applications. IC rated. Suitable for direct contact with insulation.
- IDEAL® quick-connect connections enable fast, secure snap-in installation of compatible NICOR D-Series LED downlights
- IC-rated airtight housing is approved for direct contact with insulation and helps improve energy efficiency by reducing air leakage
- Designed for new construction residential and commercial applications with a low-profile 5.5-inch height that fits standard 2-inch x 6-inch joist construction
- Adjustable housing accommodates ceiling thicknesses from 0.5 inch to 1.5 inches, while the removable housing design provides convenient access to the junction box
- Meets Washington State Energy Code restricted airflow requirements and includes through-branch circuit wiring capability with multiple 3/4-inch knockouts for installation flexibility

Construction
- 5.5” height allows use in 2” x 6” joist construction
- Housing is secured to plaster frame with screws and can be removed for access to junction box
- Housing adjusts from 0.5” to 1.5” to accommodate ceiling thickness

- Heavy-gauge NICOR captive hanger bars provide greater stability, allowing housing to be positioned at any point within a 24” joist span, then locked in place with set screws
- Unique hanger bar lip design helps align can to joist
- Four double-headed captive nails provide for ease of installation
- Bars can be repositioned 90° on plaster frame without tools
- Bars fit onto T-bar spine for quick alignment and can be permanently secured
- Score lines allow bars to be shortened without tools to accommodate a 12” joist span
