This 6″ Non-IC rated housing is suitable for remodel in residential and commercial applications and requires 3” spacing from insulation. Integral thermal guards protect against improper lamping and misuse of insulation materials with lamp wattage ratings and apertures based off trim selection. The housing adjusts from 0.5” to 1.5” to accommodate ceiling thickness and its 5.875” height allows it to be used in 2” x 6” joist construction.
- Shallow-profile 6-inch housing is ideal for remodel applications where ceiling space is limited, fitting within standard 2-inch x 6-inch joist construction
- Non-IC rated design is suitable for residential and commercial installations and requires a minimum 3-inch clearance from insulation
- Integrated thermal protection helps guard against overheating, improper lamping, and insulation misuse for added safety
- Adjustable housing accommodates ceiling thicknesses from 0.5 inch to 1.5 inches for greater installation flexibility
- Compatible with a variety of trim and lamp configurations, allowing aperture and wattage options based on application requirements
