Its die-cast aluminum housing includes an integrated heat sink and convenient knockouts, and the UV- and fire-resistant prismatic lens delivers even light distribution suited to those low-ceiling, high-glare-sensitivity environments. Stainless steel hardware and a fine-textured, UV-stabilized powder coat finish (available in black or white) round out a fixture built for constant outdoor exposure.
Wattage and CCT Selectable On-Site
Like the rest of NICOR’s double-select line, the OUC5 puts wattage and color temperature selection on the fixture itself. Installers can choose between 60W, 80W, or 100W, and 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K, at the time of install. That flexibility cuts down on the number of SKUs a distributor needs to stock and gives specifiers one part number that covers a range of project requirements.
Photocell and Sensor Ready
Every OUC5 ships with a factory-mounted photocell standard, so dusk-to-dawn operation works right out of the box (the photocell can be disabled in the field if a project calls for it). A preinstalled 3.5mm sensor socket also allows for low-voltage lighting controls, including NICOR’s microwave motion sensor accessories, for projects that need occupancy-based control on top of daylight switching.
Flexible Mounting for Any Install
The OUC5 supports three mounting methods: J-Box with a hinged mounting plate, ceiling or conduit mount through 1/2″ threaded openings on the sides, or pendant mount using 3/4″ hardware provided by others. That range covers new construction and retrofit installs without requiring a different fixture for each mounting condition.
Backed by a 5-Year Warranty
Every OUC5 carries NICOR’s 5-year limited system warranty. The fixture is cULus listed for wet locations, IP65 rated, RoHS compliant, and DLC 6.0 Premium certified, with TM-21 reported L70 life over 102,000 hours.
