In recognition of the investment in time and resources required for our high-quality authorized distributors to provide the level of customer service and product knowledge expected from our customers, NICOR is committed to enforcing policies which allow our authorized distributors to maintain high profit margins through the resale of our products online in the open marketplaces that are available over the Internet (e.g., channels including Ebay.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com).
Accordingly, NICOR has an established a Minimum Advertised Price (IMAP) Policy that an Authorized Distributor must follow for the advertising and marketing of NICOR products online. All NICOR Authorized Resellers must agree to the terms and conditions of the following IMAP Policy.
NICOR AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS OPERATING AS ONLINE RESELLERS OF NICOR PRODUCT SHALL NOT PROMOTE, MARKET, ADVERTISE, OFFER TO SELL OR SELL ANY NICOR PRODUCT ON OR THROUGH ANY ONLINE MARKETPLACE OR AUCTION SERVICE (E.G., EBAY, AMAZON MARKETPLACE, WALMART. OR LIKE WEBSITES), EXCEPT AS MAY BE APPROVED AND EXPRESSLY CONSENTED TO BY NICOR IN WRITING AND IN ADVANCE, AND IT BEING UNDERSTOOD THAT NICOR MAY WITHDRAW ITS CONSENT AT ANY TIME.
NICOR Authorized Distributors wanting to resell NICOR product online must contact NICOR at [email protected] and provide copy for its online advertising, or for any modification of existing online advertisements, for written approval. Unapproved online advertisements may be subject to cancellation of Authorized Distributor’s online resale authorization.
