The United States Trade Agreements Act (TAA) of 1979
Products manufactured in a TAA Compliant country qualify for jobs specified by federal agencies, the U.S. military, municipalities, and other government organizations. The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) defines procurement standards for GSA Schedule contracts to source the products from a TAA approved country (countries that currently have a trade agreement with the United States in place). All Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contracts (or GSA Schedule Contracts) are subject to the Trade Agreements Act (TAA).
